Emilea Gross, MS/EdS, LCMHC is a group facilitator and marketing consultant for Empowering Student Success, LLC. She joined the ESS team in January 2024 as an ACCESS group facilitator and is excited to continue to build the ESS program and lead future groups. Ms. Gross earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), followed by Master’s degree and Educational Specialist degree in Counseling from UNCG in 2016. As part of her undergraduate and graduate training, Ms. Gross worked under the direction of Dr. Anastopoulos as a research assistant on the Trajectories Related to ADHD in College (TRAC) project, a longitudinal study of ADHD in college students. Ms. Gross also served as a counselor initially and then later as the Director of Behavioral Programming for the North Carolina Summer Program for Kids (NCSPK), an evidence-based summer treatment program for children with ADHD offered by the ADHD Clinic at UNCG. After earning her master’s degree, Ms. Gross worked as a school counselor for seven years at a public high school. She has recently transitioned to a private practice setting where she primarily works with children and families with ADHD.
